IRC Chat. I got to chat from a friends computer; I thought this was so cool and totally loved the possibility to "talk" to people in real time. Unfortunately my counterpart thought I was too slow in typing and quit the discussion after a few sentences...

As in shared cars and so on? I believe so. It is a good way in our overly saturated society to take a step back and find out what's important again.

by caro on Feb 21st 2013

I think so. And I hope it does. We do not need to produce everything new.

by Diana Knodel on Feb 19th 2013

In a saturated society like ours for several lasting goods (e.g. books, furniture) it will have reasonable impact for a long time. Unless the lasting goods become digital?

by Paulchen3000 on Feb 19th 2013

It is a very responsible way of living I think. To give something and get something in return. I like that idea.

by Beta Bella on Feb 18th 2013

Yes, something to exchange is one of our original senses. That's the reason why it will survive longer than us.

Panels on digital stuff - what do you prefer: like minded people talking openly about topics? Ort having someone among them that really polarizes?

The discussion is usually more interesting to have someone that polarizes. It depends on the person though, it can be really annoying.
